how to install oracle JDBC driver

Hi

one of the user wants to connect to oracle through java using oracle drivers, and user gets error "drivers not installed ".
i downloaded 1 file from oracle website ie: " ojdbc14_g.jar ".
i think i want to install this in the user system which is having windows.
i don't know how to install oracle jdbc, any one please help me out in installation of oracle JDBC driver. please give me the complete steps from beginning how to install ORACLE JDBC Drivers.
