How to install on SATA

Hi all,
I am Manju from Bangalore, India. I am new to Solaris and I am trying to install Solaris on my AMD Athlon 3000+ system, 512 MB RAM, 120 GB Segate SATA drive. I tried installing solaris but it failed to recougnize the SATA hard drive. Please help me how to install the Solaris on SATA hard drive.
