How to install ODP.net Xcopy on Windows XP

Dear all,

I am very new to Oracle for .net. I have programed VBA for a while with access to Oracle using ADODB. Now I need to start using C# to access Oracle.

Because my location-Denmark, so I can't download any ODP.NET provider from Oracle website. Yesterday a nice guy in the forum upload ODAC Xcopy in Megaupload, so I download from there.

Following the instructions in "readme.txt" in the downloaded package, I unzip the whole package to C:\oracle\ODAC. There is a C:\oracal folder already. So i just create a new folder called ODAC, and put all stuff there.

Then I open CMD window, and type "install.bat all c:\oracle odac". What confuses me is that I don't really see anything happening..i mean, usually when you install something, there are installation window showing progress. But this time, nothing happens???

Then I open C% visio studio 2008. and try to add reference, but I can't find Oracle.dataaccess.dll .-_-' So i assumed nothing happend.

But actually something happened. The proof is that afterwards, I open my excel to do the routine (extracing data from Oracle), but then it failed showing:
"ADODB.Connection,Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed,3706" .. This excel worked for like 2 year, and has never had problems.
So from this , I realised, it did screw up my setup.

Can anyone tell me how to do it in the right way. (maybe start from undo it,...)

Guys, I know it is kinda a stupid question, but please help..

BR
