How to insert, update, delete a record in xml using java

Am working in struts 1.3, and i've a requirement like, whenever there is a insert in database,
i've to write the same in xml and should update and delete when reequired.'
Say, a record,
employee name, employee address, and telephone.. how to dynamically insert in the xml.
Any idea is highly appreciated..
