How to Insert a large XML file into a clob

Oracle Database 11.2.0.4

Oracle REST Data Services 2.0.7

Windows 2008R2

Hello,

I have a 57k xml file that I would like to insert into a clob column. When I try, I get PLS-00172 "string literal too long".

External tables, sql loader and insert from a file are not an option.

Should I chunk the file? how? Any advice will be appreciated.
