How to insert a break (carriage return) in pre element text.

Hello All,

Environment: APEX 5.1, Universal Default Theme

I am trying to insert a break inside Pre-Text of an Page Item, i.e. Checkbox in my case . i tried Break <br> but not working. even paragraph is not helping.

Q: What tag will help or do i have to go CSS Mode to do that?
