how to increase the gap between two tab?

Hi,guys
I would like to use tabpane to structure a page with JavaFX2.0.3 ,just like this link:
http://carlfx.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/javafx-tabbed-pane-tab-panel/ //this demo was created by JavaFX1.3 or less.

How can I increase the gap which between two taps? the effect should be like tab1 and tab2. the default gap is too short.
