How to improve Insert performance .

Hi All,

Now we are able to insert 5000 records in 6 secs (commit after 5000 records), if we commit for every record then 11secs (requirement is like that, thats why we are doing)

Now current setup

1) only one index is available other than PK
2) /*+Append*/ using append hint

Please suggest if I want to improve Inserts performance. what else I need to consider.
