How to import data from MS SQL Server into Oracle EBS database using dBLink

764536Apr 5 2010 — edited Apr 5 2010
Hi

We are using Dataloader tool (Trial Version) currently to migrate data from MS SQL Server to Oracle database for loading of customers in Arabic language. By this the customers names in Arabic are getting imported as small square boxes and not the actual Arabic names. When created from the front end of Oracle Apps, the customers are getting created correctly.

The issue is with the customers being created through the interface using Data loader to pull the data from SQL Server to Oracle.

SR 3-1359910621 has been raised and it was suggested to use Oracle SQL Developer to extract the data and verify.

Can some one please help in explaining the steps to migrate the data from SQL Server table into Oracle using Oracle SQL Developer and steps to automate the same.

Thanks,
Shanil
