how to import an oracle dmp file

Hi,

i have to a dmp file, of a database...
i want to restore it, and use it for building a data warehouse. It is my first interraction with oracle and am new in the field also.
how to restore the dmp file, please tell me the commands.
how to use it for a data warehousing.

i have oracle and OWB installed on my windows machine.
