How to hide "user/password@connect_string" from URL without connection dialog box appearing prompt?

I'd like to hide "user/password@connect_string" from URL without connection dialog box! I'm starting report60 from forms6i on IAS9i, w2k server.

Some experts on metalink forum advice me for using "cmdkey". But I don't want to insert login and passwords from users into table, beacuse I think this is an administration of DBA and not of developer or tehnical suports for end users.

Is there some other solution? I'll be very thankful!
