how to get the trace file

Hi ,

How can i get the trace file when i'm connecting to the oracle 10g database from the sqlplus 10.2.0 , i wanted to check the trace file when i'm unable to login into or when getting error like 'ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied'
