How to get parent account values and its details

I have a requirement where i need to calculate the details of parent account based on the child account deatils.
Example
------------
Parent --- Child
1000 1001 & 1002
2000 2001 - 2002
100 1000
10 100
the parents shuld display the sum of its childs
format to de displayed
--------------------------
1001 100 200
1002 200 300
1000 300 500
2001 200 250
2002 150 50
2000 350 300
100 300 500
10 300 500
Please let me know if ny one worked on this before??
