How to get items aligned to the bottom?

Hi,

I am using APEX 4.2.4.00.08, Theme 26. Browser: Firefox, Chrome, IE11

Could you please offer help on how to display items neatly? Please find my example below:

On this page I have different item types:

Select-List
Pop-up LOV
Date Picker
Text item
Buttons (Style: template based button; Template: Button; Type: Normal)

As you can see I cannot get the items lined up/aligned to the bottom - they are all out of whack. Any ideas?

Noticed also when the browser is resized smaller, the region is responsive but the items are static.

How do I get the items aligned to the bottom and how to make them responsive?
