How to get exact scn and squence number which needs to be restored from tap

Hi,

If we are asked to restore a database as of 12-0ct-09 till 2 pm then In this case how we can getthe exact SCN or Sequence number from the backup which in tape?
Also how we can convey to backup team to put the right tape inside library by seeing the backupset which needs to be restored from tape?
Could you give your guidance on it?
