how to get auto generated column in spring jdbc

Hi guys ,

I am using springJDBC and sybase db.
I think what i am facing is a standard problem but whatever support i am getting from google is not working.

My problem is :

"While inserting values in database one colum(Identity) is autogenerated .....how do i get the value of that column??"
