How to get a sequential value to be displayed on a page before insert - Apex?

Hi Team,

Please can you advise me on this one. I want to create a page in APEX which looks like an order form.

In one of the text fields which is the Order number. I wanted the Order number displayed which is a sequential value. This being generated in the PK column in the Orders table.

Is it possible to have this identifier("Order Number") displayed before submitting the order form and how would I do this.
