How to format Interactive Grid Grid lines and Background?

Hey all,
i was wondering how i could format the empty column in the below screen to have no background color or grid lines. So it would mimic a gap in my table
image.pngIdeally all cells including header would be formatted.
I have created this empty column in an SQL query, and its called GAP_1.
Using Apex 19.2
