How to force numbers only input

Howdy all gurus,
so as a newbie I am wondering how I can force a form field to only accept numbers during input? As the form looks like now I have a couple of fields that accepts numbers (both in dollares and numbers) and I'd like to make sure that the end user can't type anything else than numbers or dollares.
