How to find where is deadlock?

VJ4Apr 1 2010 — edited Apr 1 2010
Hello,
In my company, the front-end developer's work on Developer 2000(D2K). In some situation's , when many number of users access the same forms and reports for a very general purpose and which is necessary also they get stuck in deadlock. Now the problem is that most of the plsql coding is done in D2K, so i cant guess from where is this deadlock occurring ????......

can anyone tell me, by what means i can get to know why my db is facing deadlock ???? and how could i solve it ???

for a temporary purpose , i kill that session and make them work . but this is not the solution i want. Can anyone tell me some permanent solution .....???
