How to find the time length of an audio file without actually playing it ?

Hi all,

I have a requirement of finding the time length (in minutes or seconds) of the audio file (.wav file) without actually playing it. I need the value for making some calculations in my application.

Can anybody help me out in finding time value of the .wav audio file as mentioned above?
