How to find highest scn on standby when control file is lost

Vinay KSep 2 2014 — edited Sep 3 2014

Hi,

Db- 10.2.0.4

We want to take incremental backup and apply that to standby database, as it is out of sync since few days.

But some of my co-workers tried to apply incremental backup but failed and somehow they didn't save the Control file of standby.

Now I want to start fresh, but  i cannot figure out what is the Current SCN on standby from where we have to take the backup.  V$archived_log on standby is blank since it reads from recent CF restored from primary.

Is there any way to find out the SCN number from where we have to take backup from primary ?
