How to find difference between dates from the same column

3262725Jun 21 2016 — edited Jun 22 2016

I have to create a query that calculates the time taken between each activity. My query is pulling the data from tables and displaying the following data:

Case        Created By      Transferred Date               Assigned To

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

100          Joe                  04-14-2016 16:15:31          Catherine

100          Catherine        04-15-2016 20:25:46          Shaw

100          Shaw              05-31-2016 10:29:44          Mike

200          Mike               06-01-2016 19:09:55           Catherine

200          Catherine       06-03-2016 11:27:45           Shaw

I have to find the time taken to transfer the case from one person to another. For ex: Joe assigns the case to Catherine. Catherine assigns the case to Shaw. So, the time difference between  4/14/2016 4:15 PM  and  4/15/2016 8:25 PM is how long Catherine took to process the case. Same way, I need to calculate for the others. Please help.

Thank you,

Jayanthi
