how to extract CPIO file to install Oracle in LINUX REDHAT9

I DOWNLOADED THE ORACLE 9I SOFTWARE FROM ORACLE SITE FOR
LINUX REDHAT9. NOW I DONT KNOW HOW TO EXTRACT THE FILE WITH CPIO.
CAN ANY BODY HELP ME.
