How to duplicate a database from RMAN backup 11G to 12C database

I am using oracle 11.2.0.1 database on oracle linux. I have an RMAN full backup. the database is NOT in ASM but managed on files

we are now installing a new oracle server with oracle linux and oracle 12.1.0.2.0 with ASM

how can I duplicate the existing oracle 11 with RMAN to the new oracle 12?
