How to do periodic commit (on a batch of records) while deleting records

Hi Gurus,

Pls guide me on:
How to do periodic commit (on a batch of records, eg 1000) while deleting million of records from tables using a SP.

Would be grateful if you provide a sample code for the same.

Also how to use Alter table ABC No Logging in a SP?
