Hi,

I'm new to ADF, i'm learning ADF myself using docs, forums and blogs.

After i surfed lot about this, still i can't able to get a exact procedure.

I have good knowledge in OAF. I hope OAF and ADF are similar in architecture and concept.

I want to know about how to write actions for buttons.

For example, I have button called 'Login' in my login page, after i click this button i want to validate the both user name and password field with the table records
and if it is match i need to navigate to home page otherwise i want to throw error.

can any one tell me how to write actions for buttons. Or otherwise please refer me a blog or site is having steps to do it.
