How to Disable Orange Squiggly Lines (Windows 10)

Tee BirdNov 5 2024 — edited Nov 5 2024

Information/Assistance Sought by This Post

Can you tell me how to fine tune the orange squiggly lines in Oracle SQL Developer running on Windows 10?

The adjustment most interesting me today would be making them disappear. My efficiency metrics, unique to me, indicate never seeing the squiggly lines in any color again (orange included) would be acceptable.

In Other Words….

I love the orange squiggly lines.

There are two things that would facilitate a more productive working relationship between the orange squiggly lines and the workflows utilizing Oracle SQL Developer I have developed over the course of my brief career:

1. It would help if I could discover the conditions that trigger the appearance of the orange squiggly lines. Currently, the knowledge I have on what I do within Oracle SQL Developer v. 23.1.1.345 to trigger the appearance of the orange squiggly lines is a null set.

2. Nothing would make me love the orange squiggly lines more than making them disappear, so I never see them again. Unfortunately, I cannot find the "disable orange squiggly lines" button in Oracle SQL Developer v. 23.1.1.345 or other Windows 10 settings.

Clarification

If possible, I would like to make all the squiggly lines in all colors disappear from Oracle SQL Developer on Windows 10.

Version of Oracle SQL Developer: 23.1.1.345
