How to disable oracle built in Popup screen aftermaking changes in the form

671480Nov 30 2008 — edited Dec 1 2008
Hi all seniors,

I just want to know is there any way to disable the oracle built in functionality to show the pop-up screen whenever we make any changes in oracle form

I will elaborate the exact thing as shown below

Say for instance:

I am having one form on which user can change or you can say update the booking that he have made
In my $ORACLE_HOME\forms\fmrweb.res file I have mapped the f12 key to exit the form

So, when user tries to change any field on this screen and then if he press an f12 key
The oracles inbuilt pop-up appears on the screen asking for "Do you want to save the changes you have made" with "Yes No Cancel" buttons on it

Doubt:
---------
So My doubt here is that,
Is it possible to disable this functionality by any means??
If not then, Can I overwrite this pop-up screen by user defined ,I mean my own pop-up message and buttons

Any help will be appreciated.

Please advise :)
