Java SE (Java Platform, Standard Edition)

Hello everyone:
I'm working on Java Desktop Application but I don't know how to make the best design or how to arrange the Components or which is the best layout for use....!!
and I had a lot of duplicated code and components(like the cruld buttons, the should be almost in every panel ).....!!?
I know the design depends on the customers or the program I work on it....!! but I need to know the best component to use it or best design...!!
I search for a lot of examples, tutorial and books but I didn't get what I need....!!
Please anyone can help me with this...!? I need a book or good design example or tutorial or if there is any good open source desktop application so I can look at the design and the code...!!
