How to define height and width of a html-region

Hi,

I want to add a html-region to the login-page for a welcome to the users.

What do I have to enter in the region html table cell attributes to get two equal regions: one for the welcome (at the right), one for the login (at the left).

By the way, where can I find documentation about HTML ?
