How to decide that we should use correlated subquery?

Hi Team,

I am new to sql query,

When can we go for correlated subquery,, in what situtation we should use correlated?

Second how correlated subquery works, as far as know subquery is executed on each iteration of main query.. Can you please elaborate it with example...

So that it will be clear to me..
