How to decide how many blocks (BSO/ASO) to use ?

If there is an organization that has 30-40 financial models, how do I decide how many BSO blocks to use ?

If all the models are in one BSO cube, does it have any disadvantages ?

Is the size of the BSO cube dynamics (pre-set) ?

Would having more cubes incur additional costs ?
