How to customize APEX header bar?

Hi all,

currently working with Application Express 19.1.0.00.15 Universal Theme 42.

I need to add to the upper "header bar" some items such as "full user name", "role" and "environment", right between the LOGO and the Navigation menu.

Any references, tips or input on how to go about doing this would be greatly appreciated.
