HOW TO CREATE TWO DATABASES IN THE SAME MACHINE IN LINUX

I have created a database in my pc.
After that for the second database i created another user, configured the bash profile, configured the pfile, written the database creation script.
But when i connect to sqlplus as sysdba from the new user i got the error ORA-12547: TNS: lost contact......pls help...
