How to create recovery catalog in separte server

Hi,
Currently we are using rman nocatalog for backup. That's why i am not able to restore this backup on my dev instance.
We are using Tsm server for Rman backup.

I want to install Rman catalog on separate server. Please guide. If possible clear my concepts and give step by step documents.
