How to create business validation for composite primary key

Hi All,

I am newbie to oracle ADF and my knowledge is lacking in business validation,

My requirement is to display an error message when user enter same data into table.

Let me exaggerate i have a table in which composite primary key is define on 2-columns, if user violates composite primary key constraints then I have to display warning message.

FYI i am using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 version

Please let me know steps to create business rule for this.
