How to Create ASM diskgroup on NetApp LUNs from SAN

Hi,
I am trying to Install 11gr2 Grid Infrastructure on IBM AIX 5.3 L (64bit). This is my first time and its just for learning purpose. I asked our storage admin to create and present 3 LUNs of 50GB to a server.
I am able to detect three LUNs

brwxrwxrwx 1 oratest oinstall 23, 9 Aug 20 15:38 /dev/hdisk9
brwxrwxrwx 1 oratest oinstall 23, 11 Aug 20 15:38 /dev/hdisk11
brwxrwxrwx 1 oratest oinstall 23, 12 Aug 20 15:47 /dev/hdisk12

If there is any specific step from storage point of view that I need to do please do let me know as when I start the grid Installation it is unable to detect the disks. I have changed the diskstring as well but to no avail.

if someone has steps to Install 11gr2 Grid on AIX with SAN for a standalone server then please share and I will be very grateful.
