How to create a horizontal scrollbar for Interactive Report region?

BillUKJan 27 2015 — edited Feb 4 2015

Hi,

I am using APEX 4.2.5.00.08 and have created some interactive reports which contain a lot of columns. However when displaying the results of the report, because of the large number of columns the report table/data overflows from the region and a horizontal scrollbar appears in my main browser window. This doesn't look very good from an end user/customer perspective and I was wondering if it is possible to size that report region to a particular size and have a horizonal scrollbar within it so that users can view the rest of the report columns using that scrollbar instead, rather than it doing what it's doing right now and going over the screen and having to use the browsers main horizontal scrollbar at the bottom.

I have tried on IE8, Firefox 27.0.1 and Chrome and get the same result. I have tried to follow the ideas in this thread, Horizontal scrollbar in interactive report, but to no avail.

Do you have any ideas on how I can get around this please?

Regards
