How to convert Semicolon to Null within braces.

897395Nov 2 2011 — edited Nov 8 2011
Hi,
I've a requirement where i need to convert Semicolon to Null value within braces present in a column. I might also have Semicolon which is not included within braces and it should be retained the same.

For Ex:

Havard University(1947; Masters; Distinction); Stanford University(1948, Masters; Distinction;); Cambridge University(1949; Graduation, First class)

Should be converted as

Havard University(1947 Masters Distinction); Stanford University(1948, Masters Distinction;); Cambridge University(1949 Graduation, First class).

Please help me on how to achieve this through SQL.
Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
Balakrishna
