Oracle Forms

hey

i'm looking for a solution for the task of converting pdf to txt from inside the application (or through a stored preocedure).
i read about tools like pdf2txt that can complete this task easily , but is there any way to call tool like this straight from the form?
I'm working with forms 6 on db 9i , windows xp platform.

btw, the full task is to make a selection pages printing from a text file (from page num - to page num).
i have thought that the way to do it is to generate a small pdf (acording to given pages num) from an original one , and then convert the new one to txt and print it (the printed file must be the txt).

anu ideas?
