How to connect to DB2 on mainframe?

Hi,

One may say that this question has been posted so many times, but I have looked up the forum, and was going through it from last 2 days and have not find the exact answer, so if any one can give me the exact answer that would be great.....

The enviornment...

1. W2K running Tomcat with a web application wants to access DB2 database on the mainframe.

2. DB2 UDB v 7.1 on the mainframe.

That is all the information I have, I also have db2java.zip file with tomcat, so have both the app and the net drivers. But I do not know any more steps to how to connect to the db2 on the mainframe. Please help.
