How to Configure Physical Interfaces eth0 and eth1 VM SERVER ? AnyOne?

yakub21Mar 6 2008 — edited Mar 18 2008
Has anyone been able to configure eth0 and eth1 us Oracle VM Server 2.1 and can explain how to set it up?

I've tried /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 on first guest and then copied ifcfg-eth0 to ifcfg-eth1.

I've reviewed the Oracle VM Server Configuration Bonded and Trunked Network interfaces and focused on Configure the bonding interface and Configure the physical interfaces (eth0 and eth1). When I assign the actual MAC address from DOMU ifconfig eth1 and I get an error when:

root@rac2 network-scripts]# service network restart
Shutting down interface eth0: [ OK ]
Shutting down loopback interface: [ OK ]
Bringing up loopback interface: [ OK ]
Bringing up interface eth0: [ OK ]
Bringing up interface eth1: Device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.
