How to configure FTP Adapter to fetch file from mainframe?

I would like to use FTP Adapter to fetch file from mainframe .What are the ways of connecting to a mainframe FTP server using SOA FTP Adapter .Is it really possible? Please let me know below details if you have done this already

1.How we should specify Directory name

2. How can we specify file name property

Is there any additional outbound connection property that we need to set apart from host,user,password in ftp outbound connection pools to achieve the same.
