How to configure Forms 12c to run on Mac/Apple ?

T. MortonJun 21 2017 — edited Jun 23 2017

Hello,

I'm looking for a guide on how to configure Forms 12c application to be ran by Safari on Mac/Apple.

I found nothing on Oracle Support or the web.

We have managed to launch it on Safari.

We have changed the clientDPI to 96 for Mac users and now the forms has the same size on Mac than on Windows.

But the font-size of text inside fields are too big so, for example, an item containing a date truncates the data display.

On windows, the users can see the full date:        [01/01/2000]

On Mac, the users only see a part of the date :    [01/01/20]

The 00 are hidden at the end of the item because the font is too big.

To solve this on Forms 11g, we had to add to the file Registry.dat some lines for mac (mac.fontMap.defaultsize) and set the parameter AppServer=mac int the formsweb.cfg.

This works for the Font-Size of Windows title but not for the size of the text inside items.

So I'm looking for guide which explains how to set Registry.dat to change the size of the text inside items.

Thanks,
