How to clone oracle xe from on laptop to another?

I have read and researched many posts and user guides but am still unable to successfully clone my XE 11.2 Database from one laptop to another. It doesn't seem that should be such a difficult task, I am only using xe for self training.

I have attempted many things, including using RMAN, and Data Pump, nothing has worked so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I really want to like oracle but when simple task get made very complex it is frustrating.
