How to clear Application Server Control logs?

apex_discoAug 1 2011 — edited Jan 30 2012
On 10g Application Server, 10g DataBase, Windows 2003 Operating System.

Referring to http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10464_05/core.904/b10376/log.htm , Figure 4-1; I can see 12000+++ rows dating back to before I was hired. I am trying to delete some of the logs, if possible. When I followed Figure 4-6, Location of Log Repository - diagnostics/repository, I thought the log files will be in FRHome1\diagnostics\respository; but there were no files in there. In fact there was nothing in that folder.

So my questions are:
1) Where are the log files located for Application Server?
2) How do I delete some of the logs?

thanks.
