How to clear a JList and JTextArea

Hi all,

I'm stuck trying to clear a JList and a JTextArea on my applet. Basically what I want with my applet is it process something when I hit the Run button, and list the result in a JList. If the user selects one of the list in JList, the detail will be shown in a JTextArea. There's a Reset button, which is supposed to reset everything (clear all JTextField, JTextArea and JList). I have no problem with JTextField, but I can't clear any of my JList and JTextArea.

How can I clear the JList & JTextArea?
