How to clean up "TEMP" space in Oracle

425613Apr 11 2005 — edited Apr 13 2005
Hi, I'm asking this question because I'm very familiar with Express, but not so much with the overall Oracle environment.

I have a 10.1.0.4 development server that I'm trying to load a pretty large AW on. However, I'm having problems because it keeps eating more and more space in the TEMP tablespace. Right now, it shows the TEMP tablespace having over 20 Gb of data, while the other spaces (USERS, etc.) only have about 2 Gb total.

How do I clear out the TEMP space so that it goes back down? How can I even find out what database objects are using this space?

Thanks!
Scott
