How to check RAC database status in UNIX

Hello experts,

I wont to know how to chcek RAC database status like ,instanc is up or not ,services are running or not and rac node status.

i have gone through so many documents,however i did't come to know which one we have to use for to check which one in exact format .
ex: ps -ef|grep pmon to check instanc is up or not ,shall i get in exact format.

please help me to check the status.
